In the west of Stockholm, the new city bypass “Förbifart Stockholm” is built, which connects the south and north of the Swedish capital as a new 2-lane, 3-lane motorway. The works include a ca. 1 km long section Hjulsta Södra, a motorway interchange with two 627.70 m long road bridges, two access ramps with bridges of 259.70 m and 214.0 m length, three further bridges of approx. 70 m length each and retaining walls with a total length of approx. 350 m.

The Fehmarnbelt fixed link is the longest and deepest combined road and rail tunnel in the world and is being realized by the Danish state-owned company Femern A/S.
