Consulting Services for project management including construction supervision in Kattakurgan, Republic of Uzbekistan
This project, financed by the World Bank, focuses on the reconstruction of water supply and sanitation systems in the city of Kattakurgan, located in the Samarkand region. It is expected to deliver substantial benefits to approximately 91,800 residents in Kattakurgan and its surrounding areas.
The water supply component includes the construction and rehabilitation of pumping and lifting stations, well fields, transmission mains, reservoirs, and the distribution network. The wastewater component covers the construction of new pumping stations, sewer networks, and a new wastewater treatment plant (WWTP). All along with the associated infrastructure such as roads, power supply systems (including photovoltaic systems and transformer stations), and new buildings. The overall scope will be implemented through six separate works contracts. The consultancy services will encompass design review, assistance during the tendering process, construction supervision, and support during commissioning, as well as throughout the Defects Liability Period (DLP).
